Human Informed®
Human Informed Culture is an open-source practice focused on the awareness that can come from asking question: What Does BEING HUMAN Mean To You? The most common themes in answers from around the world reflect understanding, compassion & interconnectedness. When we embody these practices, we help each other, our communities & ourselves - this is Human Informed.
* How does Human Informed differ from Trauma Informed Care?
Trauma-Informed Care focuses on how trauma affects individuals, groups & communities; it helps us understand and respond to the lasting impact of difficult experiences.
Human Informed goes beyond trauma — it's about seeing the whole person, not just their pain. It recognizes that people are shaped by many interconnected parts: their culture, identity, personality, preferences, needs, and life experiences (including but not limited to trauma). At its core, it’s a reminder that when we understand the parts that shape a person, we can create spaces — and interactions — that are truly inclusive, accessible, compassionate & human-centered.
